Meet Christine Graber, Marketing Consultant

Christine specializes in helping businesses and organizations define and leverage their unique position in the marketplace. She provides comprehensive marketing services from audits and assessments to strategy and concept development to planning and implementation. She has worked across a wide range of industries including footwear, architecture and professional services, retail, travel, communications, technology, the building trades, and more. Chris was with The Clarks Companies as Director of Marketing where she was a key member of the leadership team responsible for repositioning this British footwear brand for success in the US. Working with an international team, she directed the design and construction of the company's first flagship store at Mall of America. In 1996, she helped Clarks earn industry recognition as "Footwear Company of the Year". As VP of Retail Marketing, she worked with the company-owned stores (over 200 properties at the time) aligning a strong retail effort with dramatic wholesale growth and helping to deliver 18 new shops in a brief, 15-month period. Chris served as Creative Director for a Boston-based marketing firm and received critical acclaim for her work on promotional and direct response programs for clients including Reebok, Rockport, Lipton Tea, Bass, Bank of Boston, and Fidelity Investments. Chris graduated from Boston College. She counseled emerging entrepreneurs for the Center for Women and Economic Development (CWE) and continues to be a mentor and advisor to several women-owned small businesses. She is presently serving on the Corporate Executive Council for WGBH.
